Company Profile
Are you planning a high-quality conservatory, orangery or pool house in a classic, elegant style? Ludwig & Sons is your ideal partner. Since our founding in 1928 by Ludwig Krenzer, we have specialised as a manufactory for bespoke glazing projects. Every conservatory, orangery and pool house we create is unique, and we support you from the first consultation through to final installation.
Our core expertise lies in Victorian conservatories and orangeries with premium wood-aluminium systems. Over more than 95 years, our focus on these projects has built a wealth of experience from which every commission benefits. Each structure is custom-made through a combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern CNC technology. Our team of experienced specialists – from sales and architectural consultants to interior designers, technicians, master craftsmen, skilled workers and installers – ensures the highest level of detail and professional execution, turning your vision into reality.
Craftsmanship in the Fourth Generation
In 1928, Ludwig Krenzer, the son of a humble farming family, decided to set up his own business as a joiner. This was a challenging undertaking in the small village of Dietges in the Rhön region. Later, his son Erhard and his wife Ursula continued the business. In the third generation, Andreas Krenzer and his wife Irene took over the management. All three generations passed the master craftsman examination and feel committed to the tradition of the craft. Now, the fourth generation, represented by Christian and Sarah Krenzer, has also joined the management of the family business.
Our Heritage
Personal Consultation
We place particular value on expert, client-oriented consultation. Our field sales representatives and architectural consultants are experienced specialist advisors, most of whom have been active in the industry for decades. They come directly to you with sample cases and are happy to present the system to you in person. Following this, you will receive a bespoke quotation that includes a full-colour 3D visualisation of your project. This allows you to prepare for your project in the best possible way.

Many Years of Experience
In the past, we have successfully realised hundreds of glazing projects, primarily in Germany and Switzerland. Thanks to this extensive experience, all new construction projects benefit from our know-how. Many solutions that we have developed for specific details have since become standards that are applied in all projects. Furthermore, we place great importance on ensuring that all our employees, from consultants to installers, regularly undergo special training. This ensures that every project is planned and implemented according to the latest state-of-the-art technology.
Our Manufactory
Experienced Employees
Our team consists of trained master craftsmen, interior designers, technicians, and qualified skilled workers. They ensure detailed planning with CAD programs, implement the latest manufacturing processes with CNC automation, and guarantee a flawless final assembly. This turns your project into a unique masterpiece. Many of our employees completed their training within our own company and have been with us for many years.
Modern Vehicle Fleet
We have a modern, well-equipped vehicle fleet that enables us to operate nationwide in Germany, in Switzerland, and in neighbouring European countries. Transport with our own vehicles and by our own staff guarantees a smooth delivery of the goods. This allows us to prevent transport damage as well as damage during loading and unloading, and to minimise potential problems that could be caused by third parties or subcontractors.
Installation with High-Tech Crane
After the goods are delivered, the final installation takes place on-site – a crucial step in the process. Therefore, we work exclusively with our own experienced installation teams and not with external companies. These well-coordinated teams work hand-in-hand to assemble your project cleanly and professionally. This demanding and physically challenging work requires great dedication and know-how. In addition to glass lifters and special tools, high-tech cranes with a long reach are used, enabling the professional installation of large window units. This allows your project to be completed efficiently even under challenging site conditions.
Your Next Step
If you are ready to take the first step towards your own project, you have three options: For a quick, location-independent initial assessment, we recommend a non-binding video consultation with one of our specialist advisers. If you would like to experience our quality first-hand, arrange a personal visit to our showroom. Or you can start directly with a concrete request for a quotation, enabling us to calculate and plan your individual project in detail.
