Our process
At Ludwig & Sons, the competent and reliable execution of every project is central to what we do. We guide you step-by-step from the initial idea to the final installation: After a detailed on-site consultation, where our advisor presents various systems to you using a sample case, you will receive a bespoke quotation with a 3D visualisation. Your design possibilities in terms of shape, colour, and features are virtually limitless. A visit to our large indoor showroom gives you the opportunity to experience the quality of our products first-hand. After the order is placed and planning permission is secured, the design phase begins: we survey the existing structures with a state-of-the-art 3D laser and, based on this precise data, create a detailed CAD plan. Production takes place at our headquarters in Germany. Finally, our trained installation team handles the expert assembly – often supported by our own high-tech crane. This is how we guarantee professional project execution from start to finish.
I. Consultation
Conservatories, orangeries, and pool houses require intensive consultation. Therefore, we place great value on providing comprehensive and individual support from the very beginning. Our field representatives act not as salespeople, but as experienced specialist advisors, often with decades of industry experience. During a personal on-site appointment, they will present the suitable system to you – ideally using original samples from our sample case – and discuss your wishes and ideas. A visit to our large indoor showroom also offers you the opportunity to experience various Victorian conservatories and orangeries in their full size.
II. Quotation with Visualisation
Our advisor then creates a bespoke quotation and visualises your project using specialised software. The design is developed according to your individual ideas and, if required, is shown in context with the existing building. The near-photorealistic 3D design gives you an impressive impression of your project and its proportions. At the same time, you can see how the project will blend harmoniously into the existing building structures. A more detailed preparation at this stage is hardly possible.

III. Planning
As soon as the quotation meets your expectations, the order is placed, and any planning law matters are clarified, a site survey appointment is arranged with our technician. They will precisely measure the construction site and any existing structures using a state-of-the-art 3D laser system. Based on the resulting digital point cloud, the pre-production stage begins with detailed CAD planning. Technical drawings and plans are created and submitted to you for review and approval before production begins. This ensures you are comprehensively informed about your project at all times.
IV. Production
Following your approval, production begins in our own in-house facility. We use innovative CNC technology that utilises specially developed 3D design programs to transfer data precisely to the CNC automation system. This allows for detailed, handcrafted constructions, such as dovetail joints, to be manufactured with the highest accuracy. In addition, certain work steps are carried out manually, where the many years of experience of our long-serving employees play a decisive role. This combination of modern CNC technology and traditional craftsmanship guarantees the highest quality and allows us to implement even individual client wishes with flexibility.

V. Installation
After a careful check of the structure and fitting accuracy through a partial assembly in our workshop, the components are packaged for transport and delivered safely to you. Our modern vehicle fleet ensures damage-free transport. The expert assembly and precise adjustment of the systems are carried out by our own in-house installers. Using a state-of-the-art high-tech crane and special tools such as glass lifters, even large window elements can be handled effortlessly and safely – both at ground level and at height.
Your Next Step Towards Your Project
